the question i always ask before i leap
The Story Well
“Will your future self be deeply grateful you took this leap?”
That’s the question I always ask myself.
Then I pause. I soften. I let myself journey back through all the leaps I’ve taken before.
The fear.
The trembling.
The deep uncertainty.
And then, the freedom, the joy, the expansion.
🧚🏼♂️
I smile lovingly at the past versions of me, the one who felt the fear and still chose to jump.
She who chose freedom.
She who followed her heart.
She who built the life I love today.
And now, surrounded by all these versions of me, I begin to trust:
This time will be no different.
My future self will thank me.
She will be proud of me.
She will be even braver, because I showed her that we are built for courage, for strength, for expansion.
I invite her, my future self, to stand beside me.
Smiling. Radiant.
A living reminder that I am on the right path. ✨
PS.
It’s fascinating, isn’t it?
In Human Design, we can clearly see the beautiful contradictions we hold:
One part of us that craves safety and stability.
Another that longs for adventure, new horizons, and the unknown.
Finding clarity in that tension? It can feel confusing.
But sister, I’ve been there.
And I promise, it’s okay to want both.
✨ reflection :
🦒 What question brings you back to clarity when fear is loud?
🦒 Can you remember a time when your past self was brave, and your life got brighter because of it?
🦒 Who is your future self becoming… because of this choice?
